Utah

Last month John and I took a trip to Utah for our 6 yr anniversary and to see my friend Alinda and her family. We stayed a night at Zion National park, and then went through Bryce Canyon on the way to Alinda's near Salt Lake. We did some day hiking at the parks, and it was beautiful. The leaves were still fall colors, and it was not crowded at all. We had nice weather the first two days. By the time we made it to Alinda's, a cold front had moved through. We got to see some snow and were in a pretty windy snow storm one day. It was so great to see Alinda again (it's been several years), and we got to go to a Gingerbread Festival to watch her oldest perform at a dance recital. We had a lot of fun, but as usual, the vacation seemed too short.
