Jacob's third birthday was a lot of fun. We had a small party at our house with some homemade Dora and Diego cookies and baby jaguar cupcakes. John's parents came down from Euless on Friday to celebrate with us. Aunt Melba and Uncle Bo drove down after their trip to Vegas, and Michael came for one last visit before heading off to Canada. We were also joined by some friends that we had not seen since leaving College Station (and I will not say how long ago that was because it makes me feel old), some friends from church, and of coures, my parents. It was a fun party, and Jacob and Jessica have had lots of fun playing with their new toys (and finishing off all the cupcakes, cookie, and cheesecake). It was great spending time with everybody, and for my family that did not get to come, I am looking forward to seeing you in a couple weeks when we go to Dallas.
